The Waterfront

The BEST restaurant food I have had in decades. Wonderful atmosphere, and great staff. Can't wait to go back.

I was fortunate to host my wedding here at the Waterfront restaurant and what a great venue! Wedding planning before the big day provided me with confidence that everything would go well. Nothing was a bother and they were eager to help. This marked in contrast to other venues we researched. The staff goes above and beyond and we had a coordinator devoted to our wedding all night. No request was a problem. I had about eight children attend my wedding and as an oversight on my part, I had them eating dinner at the same time as the adults. The children were hungry early and this was brought to the coordinator's attention and with five (5) minutes, the children had their dinner - we were very impressed with that. Food was excellent and the portion sizes were generous. Everyone raved about our wedding and I want to give thanks to all the waterfront staff that were involved and ensured my special day was top notch - First class service. Highly recommended!

Oysters ROCKS ever,

GREAT SEAFOOD!!!

My husband and I went to the Waterfront Restaurant on Saturday April 26th to celebrate my birthday. We'd never been there and I wanted Oysters. After searching for restaurants which had oysters on their menu we made reservations here. The service was excellent, the wine list was very good. However, for a steak and seafood restaurant, I would have expected that the cooks would know how to prepare FISH! This is not the case. I received my oysters which were dirty - they hadn't rinsed the shells. Not only that, the oysters arrived 'decorated' with someone's very long hair. My husband had calamari rings which were excellent. They have very clean oil in their deep fryer. He also ordered the halibut in prociutto. Now this was disappointing. The fish wasn't fresh, but prepared from frozen and was very mushy in the centre. The rice was horrible and tasted like soap. ICK. I ordered the lobster tail with veggies. The veggies were very good. The lobster however, was so rubbery it would have bounced. I actually had to use a steak knife to cut it. We should have gone to Red Lobster. Sad, but true. When we looked around the dinning room the steaks looked very impressive. We won't go back, but I'm glad I tried it.
