Thats too bad they closed, I hope it wasnt a failed health inspection. Thats what closed the previous place is from outer space the only time this palce has been closed was when Hot Mama Noi went home to Thai land - And the person that wrote about the The Red House in Pickering begin better must have jumped off the same ship, I have eaten at the Red house a hand full of times and every time is has been awful, never once have I had an issue at Hot Mama Noi's food is always great - keep up the good work ladies

Hot Mama Noi's has the best Thai food around. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants and been disappointed because the food is more Chinese style. Mama Noi always uses fresh ingredients and the food is something you would find in Thailand. I usually cook at home, since I am Thai, in order to get the real flavor I'm looking for, but now I have a place I can go out to and be treated to a real meal. Keep up the good work Hot Mama.

Afrer reading some positive reviews and always looking for some decent local grub my 12 year old daughter and I chose this place for dinner this evening. We are a foodie family and eat out quiet often in upscale downtown spots, funky urban finds and off the beaten path greasy spoons with character and great food.This place is small in an industrial area and my curiosity was peaked as I was excited to try this highly recomnded place. What a disappointemnt...We came in fairly early evening and there was only one other table seated at the time. The waitress was friendly, if not a little too quiet . We ordered green tea and recieved two mugs with tea bags in them...No brewed tea? We tried to order the vegetarian spring rolls, but were informed they were all out. We then opted for a mango salad and vegetarian pad thai. The mango salad was covered with granulated white sugar and the only flavour in the pad thai was sweet! It was all so sweet it was almost unedible...If this is the best Thai food the previous reviewers have had I feel bad for them...There was nothing of the fresh tangy tastes of real authentic Thai cooking. Granulated sugar on fresh mango? Really? It should be a crime...Will not go back. The Red House in Pickering is a much better option for decent Thai Food in Durham Region.

Obviously this is another Thai restaurant owner in Pickering because they have never been closed, I eat there 3-5 times per week and the owner is the cook. Hence the name Hot Mama Noi's, if you have seen hell's kitchen then you know that all great chefs are extremely particular about what happens in their kitchen and that's what keeps the quality consistent. I recommend this place to any body who loves Thai food as much as I do. Everything is always fresh and the service is as good as it gets in the busiest restaurant in town.

Owner was fighting with the cook in the back. Not a good scene to walk into with such a small dining space. Cook must have been upset and she undercooked booth my mothers and fathers meals and burned mine! The bill was a bit higher than the listed prices in the menu, check out girl pretended not to speak english enough to explain our bill. I dont think I will be returning to such a train wreck of a resturant in the future I'd really have to suggest the other thai resturants in Pickering than this one.

Hot Mama Noi's dishes are insanely delicious. Incredibly authentic and fresh tasting, inexpensive, good portions...what else can I say. I love the food and I love Hot Mama Noi and her daughter...superior customer service. Very kind, very friendly individuals. 100% passion is included in every bite. I recommend the Chicken Pad Thai and Mango Chicken dishes especially, but everything that comes of that kitchen is magnificent!

It is some of the tastiest food I have ever eaten and you get quite a lot of it.
